Ok so the misses bday is coming up and along with the normal daft presents I am thinking of getting her these, http://ww2.ghdhair.com/uk/shop what I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on them and are they worth the price?

More importantly will they lead to crazy birthday sex?

My girlfriend and her sisters are always fighting over the 1 pair of GHD straighteners (well, when they lived together). They all have a pair but the GHD are the only ones that get used.
 
As I've said in almost every straightener thread: I've used GHDs and I don't think they're worth the price tag. I have a pair of Remmington straighteners that I got for £30 and they do the job. My hair stays just as straight as it did with the GHDs.
 
If you buy her straightners and they are not GHD's I very much doubt you will get the birthday sex you require.

But they are expensive and sell well for a reason, they work.
 
She will love them.

I have the mens GHD styler, it was around £70.

If they stayed as good as they were as when i first got them then i would say they are worth the price. But because the performance of them seams to slowly disapear i dont think they are worth the money. I have noticed this on my own GHD's and a lady friend said the same about hers. Although on each generation of GHD's they get better.

Personally if i was you, if you can afford them, get them.

I used a pair of remingtons today as I wasn't at home. I would take a picture to show you what my hair looks like after I used them but it's so bad I don't want to. GHDs all the way. Once you own a pair you wont settle for less.

Every girl and guy I talk to says the same thing. Was having a discussion at a bar I work at lol.
