Crashed the car - what does the insurance pay?

I did! No idea why it came to that much. But hey I think they resprayed more or less the entire drivers side.

MAAF - they're French, I'm actually presuming insurance companies are virtually the same in the way they work!

It will only be a write off if the cost to fix is more money than it costs the insurance to pay for the value of the car at that age in mint condition.

If the car was still worth 10k before the crash, then they will do a 7k repair. Saves the insurer 3k
