Sister locked herself out of her car - Need urgent advice

So . . .

She put her suitcase in her boot getting ready to leave and she left her keys inside the boot. It's the only key she has.

What's the easiest/cheapest method to get in?

It's a 99 Nissan Almera.
 
If she's a member of the AA/RAC then give them a call and they'll break in for her, otherwise call a locksmith, although they probably won't be open on a bank holiday, of if so the cost would be quite expensive,

dunno the car so only other option I can suggest is breaking a window, maybe not the best though :p
 
bend it out so its long and straight the aim for the door lock inside the door, great on older cars with locks that stick up from the door car, not so good on newcars though.
 
I called the AA when i did just this.

Interesting to note the mondeo is a pile of **** to get into if you single lock it - but double locking is surprisingly effective (which i did). He had to get under the car and apply a power pack to some bits which enabled power to the window and then he could climb in. Didn't do him any good getting into the boot though, and if I hadn't had left the rear seats not quite clicked back he might have had quite a bit of trouble getting into the boot.
 
That half tennis ball hit it with a hammer over lock was complete crap wasn't it? Just an idea.
 
What car is it?

If its a typical girls car, IE a cheap flimsy POS, you should be able to bend the top of the door open enough to get a coat hanger in. Bend the coathanger so you're able to pull the lock open.
 
This happened to my friends modified (he's a chav) 106. He took a metal crow bar to the back window. Replaced it next day.

Locksmith quoted £115 to break it, was at 10pm at night. Tara.
 
I just called a few friends and I can get something done for tonight but wow she's just mardy as hell saying that it's too late. Why are women like this?

I'll let my dad deal with her :\

Hate when women give off when you are blantenly trying to help.
 
if her car has lock pins in the doors that ARENT deadlocked then:

1x narrow but quite stiff plastic tube
1x piece of string

put the string all the way through the tube

tie a 'noose' knot at one end with the not big enough so that it cannot be pulled through the tube

slightly pull the door open at the top

push ahole assembly through the panel gap past the door rubber noose end first

get noose onto pin

pull string to tighten noose

pull whole assembly upwards

open door.

nwo i sound like a car theif, damn.
 
also my car unlocks the doors if you pull the interior handles, if you can get something thin and stiff enough through the panel gap you may be able to open it this way...
 
When the AA man came to help me when I did the same he used a piece of wire and slowly unwound the window so he could put his arm in and pull the latch up.

GF has officially said if I deadlock the car with her in it she's going to strangle me to a very painful death.

He put the wire through the seal and it had a loop on one end which went over the handle that winds the window up and down, he then manouvered it round and round so that the window went down and he could put his hand inside to unlock the door.
He'd obviously done it before.
