28 Days Later Forum, Urban Exploration - Closed :(

Oh no. I was going to sign up because I need help with a trip to Chernobyl in July and quite a few on that forum had been.

He's right about forums though.

Why I am only just learning about this site now?

The idea is so "rebellious". I don't mean that sarcastically but I used to just do stuff like this with mates when I was like 10. But actually taking photos. Now thats cool.

Thats a shame.

I can see Severall's from my bedroom window and was trying to get registered on there to give me a reason to use my SLR :(

Severall's is actually amazing by the way, if you want a tour add me on msn.

The old Railway works where I live, "Crewe Works" as it is known is on its last legs, they started to knock parts of it down last week.

It's still working here..

Or am I missing something?

Edit: Just realised how old this thread is.. Has it now been re-opened properly?

I could be archived on archive.org

I only saw a few threads about local places but there were some great photo's on there.

If it stays shut I'm sure someone else will set up some sort of replacement...

EDIT: Forget what I just said, I just read further than the 1st post... :o

No but most people will see 28 days later forums and get the idea and then go break in to some derlict condemened sewer and die.

I use to come out of tons of places in the 80s only to see in the paper that someone died a week later stealing the copper from it.

Err, no, just no.

If they are stupid enough to go in without any prior planning, equipment, etc etc etc then frankily they deserve it.

Most of the people on there do it properly, go in groups and bring us back loads of frankily amazing photography!

People like you moving the UK forward into a even bigger nanny state! I for one, and bloody sick of it! Wish people would take responsibility for their own bloody actions!

28 days later is quality. End of.
