Just watched the GS stage video and it looked good. This seems rather nice gfx and gameplay.

Whats it really like though. I'd like to hear short reviews from ppl that have played it from here if possible.

Awful, awful game, please don’t waste your money!!

Even if it was 99p I’d sooner spend the money on a double cheese burger from Maccy D’s.

It's appalling, no storyline at all other than "do this", no character development, hell, no characters whatsoever other than random grunts. I played for half an hour then gave up, there's just no incentive to keep on playing. Graphics are just meh. If you want a game in the same sort of range then go for timeshift, which is miles better.

The cheeseburger really would be a far better way to spend your money than on this game.

apparantly , i saw it in pc gamer and gave it a glance . rubbish , poor , not optimized properly. and etc. if you havent played cod 1 or 2 llately id rather give them another go instead of buying this.

I think that’s one of the major problems with the game, it’s premise is interesting and not something done often in FPS’s, but it has none of the feeling you would expect from the great setup. Apart from a couple of big set pieces with familiar architecture in the back ground, it really could be anywhere in the world, standard looking streets followed by the typical tunnel section followed by some very “F.E.A.R” inspired subway sections and so on and so on. Also the graphics are really hit and miss, on the previously mentioned set pieces they are very impressive (as you would expect from the unreal 3 engine) but the normal run and gun of the game looks rushed, flat and uninspiring.

Also, for a first person shooter, it switches to the third person aspect every time you clime over a wall or up a ladder, which can really break the interactivity. They don’t even show the fact that although you change uniforms in the cut scenes you never change from the red shirt in the third person view. It also doesn’t show the weapons that your carrying in third person. This just feels very sloppy.

All said and done it’s your money, but I would suggest maybe if you haven’t tried Medal of Honor: Airborne or any of the Call of Duty games they are far superior!!

its a real shame, i think i gave the game about an hour before hiding the box, and never playing it again. didnt play well. if this had been designed in the cod engine, with similar ideas to cod, but set in the us as if the germans had won it would have been awsome, but it was just not very good :(

It was pretty good initial idea, but I haven't seen something so badly designed since.. well.. actually.. ever. It's literally so badly done and so badly ported, that even if it was given for free with cheap graphics card it would actually reflect badly on the said card. With small exception of odd scripted Zeppelin here and there, it's purely archaic arcade machine shooter than should have never left Brighton Pier.

The only thing that could possibly make it worse would be if it had Cheeky Girls singing Andrews Sisters for soundtrack.

Shame cos the start that i saw in the vid looked really cool. Ah well. :(

Yeah, the start was cool - they just really nerfed the unreal 3 engine, and the multiplayer is a total joke. Try watching the walkthrough on youtube, it'll give you an idea on the story - very cool concept.

If COD did this game it would have been amazing

A double cheeseburger is £1.19. :p

I've heard it's a pretty big let down. The game not the cheeseburger.
