Awesome, great looking wheels too :D.

Shame about the bumper damage, no doubt from scraping against some stupid speed bump or falling into a pothole.


Edit, that's for the bora, the golf doesn't look nice imo, terrible wheels on it and I don't really like golfs itself anyway.

Yeah got to agree here, I would be waiting for them to come off the rim in someway each time the wheel got any amount of cornering load!

Are there really no safety / perfomance issues stretching the tyre like that?
 
i <3 that blue bora, the brown one is still awesome though :)


...now to convince my brother to do something similar.
 
Bora looks nice, but change the wheels to something a little less expensive and your looking at a Chavs car.
 
the brown bora is stunning, the blue one is crap, and the r32 is just nasty :(

that last stretch is just plain ridiculous :rolleyes: most smaller stretchs though looks ok, and tbh dont affect the handling much, i ran 205 45's on my 16-9 borbets and it handled like itwas on rails :cool:.

Indeed, although it still doesnt comply with construction and use, some coppers will pull over cars like that. Just because something passes MOT doesnt mean its actually legal to drive on the road.

Same kinda thing with "blacked out" back lights. They pass MOT, but expect to be pulled over all the time.

Personally I think stretched tyres look naff, but it would be a dull world if everyone liked the same thing :) One man's naff is another mans wet dream :)
 
even with tsw venoms on, to make it look chav it would also need at least a giant tailpipe and rear spoiler, kenwood, k&n and *** window stickers oh and probably a generic 16v badge on the rear pillars. Add to that some lexus lights and paint it another colour, then you have a chav car.

They were great when they came out then they went through a period where everyone had them...Now they're getting rare again and with the right detail in the right application, they work.
