then i retract my statement, although there must be people who do this on the cheap --- those who don't spend tons on adjustable suspension, they'll be the ones who fail![]()

Ermm, Nissan must do things on the cheap then because my 300zx has similar damage on the front bumper and that is stock height. Also scratched gearbox oil pan, dented fuel tank and exhausts. Come to think of it even my Colt has a scuff on the front splitter and scratches on the engine cradle.
My point being, this can happen to any car.
If you drive pretty much any sports/sporty car straight from the showroom head on into a curb you will destroy the bumper. Once your front bumper is hanging lower than the average curb stone, it doesn't really matter how much lower you go, it will do the same damage. Of course you might want to avoid speed bumps if you are very low-down.
If you're not rubbin, you're not dubbin.![]()
Nice scuff all the way around the tyre where it's rubbing on the bodywork. Always the sign of a quality job.
i couldnt live in my student house in stafford if i had a car 3cm off the ground, nor could i live in my brothers house, as they're both surrounded by monster suspension smashing bumps...
Love the Bora's
Penski, how much weight does your normal airbag setup add?
[Fox]Live somewhere less crap then...[/Fox]

Compressor, tank, bags, lines...Around 50Kg?
Depends on whether you use normal air or if you spend the extra on lightweight performance air.

whilst fox may say something like that, its a ridiculous statement.
Taking it to an entirely new level if you need to move house to accommodate your VW Bora. Glad i wasnt silly enough to lower my car into a position where it fails at speed bumps!
pretty photos though
