This is a good review of HAZE that doesn't make the game look like a complete waste of time. This guy doesn't get paid to do reviews.

Part 1 -

HAZE for the Playstation 3 PS3 video game console system. Haze is a first person shooter exclusive on the PS3 where you play as Shane Carpenter, a soldier for the mysterious government fundere military groun, Mantel. Developed by the excellent Free Radical, Haze is a completely different game from one of our favorites, Timesplitters. In Time Splitters the gameplay is a bit more solid and the humor is far greater. Haze is a hard and gritty shooter that has an interesting storyline built into it. CGRHD enjoyed it, but it is not without it's flaws. We aren't sure if this game trumps vs. Resitance Fall of Man, Halo 3 or Bioshock, but it is worth playing (or at least renting) and enjoying the unique and violent storyline and gameplay in this FPS for the PS 3. Haze has its own proprietary graphics engine and is delivered on a blu-ray disc. The band Korn recorded a song for it apparently (although we aren't sure if we heard it yet). Haze is not currently available for the Xbox 360, Wii, PC or Atari 7800.

just because a reviewer doesnt like the game dosnt make it a biased review... especially when the majority have said the same thing.

i have read enough reviews, seen enough video reviews and played through the demo to make my own judgement and i know ill be avoiding this one. i may pick it up on a rainy day when it becomes dirt cheap.
 
So all of a sudden, a review that says Haze is somewhat worth playing is now 'unbiased'? Am I sensing damage control here? I've played the game myself, everyone has access to the demo and we all know one thing: Haze is a waste of time and a bad game. I don't know why people look high and low for reviews that still say it's hardly a great game - this one isn't even professional. It's no more substantial than FHM magazine giving a year-early build of the game 5 out of 5 stars. Instead of wasting your time trying to justify your purchase of this stinker of a game, just go out already and trade it in for a more worthy title.

ok that video almost put me to sleep, if you have a voice as monotomous as that why would you do a video review?!?

Haze is not by any stretch of the imagination a bad game to be quite honest, i just isnt as good as it was hyped to be :p

Well if the full game is anything like the demo then it's a huge big steaming turd of a game imo - doesn't matter what some chap, who thinks he's a reviewer, on the t'interweb thinks!
 
Ok, first thing he comments on is the story being intelligent and interesting, clearly either easy to please or completely biased. Its an average shooter, reviews are a little harsh, maybe it deserved about 10% higher scores on average however harsh reviews are a just punishment for over hyping a game.

What a pointless thread.

To suggest the poor reviews for Haze are for any reason other than the game being average, is a complete joke.

The game is ****, the reviews reflect this.
