Banned from driving

drink driving - i really hope you die. it is irresponsible ****s like you who kill innocent people just because you can't be bothered to either not drink or get home another way. People just don't realise they are in charge of a killing machine when they drive.

Grow up and stop being a complete ****

I agree with malc30, spend £100-£200 on a half decent bike (and lock). It's almost summer and there's no better time, you'll save a lot on fuel, tax, insurance, etc.

Just don't be drunk on a push bike or you may well end up dead! This is worse than a fine and a ban

Please for the love of god make an effort with basic english. Its so annoying.

Double negative = positive, "driving without no insurance" is the same as saying you did have insurance.

Anyway, best of luck with the courts, having seen what lots of friends have received for these kind of offences i would expect around 18 months and a fine of £800-£1000 + costs. It varies but seeing as virtually everyone i know has been done for DD at some point, i think this prediction will be fairly accurate for that offence alone.

i dunno i just want the court date to come now so i can see what i get.

can someone tell me this then...is "drunk in posession" a lesser offense than "drink driving"? cos most ppl i know have only ever got 1 year ban.

and whats wrong with a fiat coupe? everyone thinks its a ferrari looking at it

There is a lesser offence which is a DR40 which is being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle or something like that, but AFAIK it depends on what the police thought at the time, if there was intention to drive or it had been being driven its a normal DR10.

best to talk to your solicitor really mate.

gonna talk to him tomorrow. i dont know if its a dr10 or a dr40 it doesnt say.
