This is childs play! Hes getting a ban, possibly a fine, and hopefully a life shock, this is just the warmup. He will be a drink driver as far as insurance is concerned for atleast 5 years.

You can hit someone without insurance aswell.... Ok, driving without insurance is stupid, hes already said he regrets it. I think the ban will be enough of a life changer. He would have been taken to a cell, made to feel like a proper criminal

1. Alcohol limits are NOT based on ammount. the legal limit does not equal "a pint and a bit"
2. You have no idea what the OP has drunk
3. You could get in a car after 3 and a half beers, and probubly make it go, yes, doesnt constitude driving.
4. ..... im lost for words.

Go have 4 beers, get in your car, and wrap it round a ****** tree with enough speed to atomise yourself so we wont have to suffer your idiotic ramblings anymore.

What do you mean there not based on amount, are you a spastic. Obviously its on the amount of alcohol youve drunk. Over the limit is a pint and a half roughly. Yea, I could get in a car after 3 and a half beers. I wouldnt be driving all over the road, hush up. Your a freshly squeezed spotted dick mate, youd want me to kill myself, nice one mate. You make me sick

alcohol affects everybody differently you buffoon, you can't say that 1.5 pints is "over the limit"
any alcohol is over the limit as far as i'm concerned

I have a right to be wound up however, having been affected by a drink driver. If I could if find the guy and demonstraight to him what happens when he thinks hes ok to drive after a few. Ill give you a hint, he wouldnt be posting here anymore.

I normally avoid these threads as it brings out the worst in me, but these 2 have just got on my pip and once you get going, its difficult to stop. I agree the thread should be locked, and they should be banned too. Unfortunately though, neither of them will learn untill they end up killing someone though there actions.

its based on units. Different drinks are stronger than others. For example, is having a pint of vodka the same as a pint of beer? (Mind, you have to be a heavy weight to haev a pint of vodka.)

I understand but getting wound up over the internet really doesn't achieve anything apart from a broken keyboard ;). You seem to be falling into all his baits and others atm.

We've heard what you have to say now take a step back and chill before things get even more heated in here..

well I have learned my lesson actually.. you ****..roach. Yes there are ****s who drive after having too much to drink all the time, but just because someone does it once, doesnt mean they are "chav scum", and should be shot and all this keyboard warrior ****. People do make mistakes you know.
 
ITs based on proportion in the blood, which is based on a million factors. Anyone who ever tries to equate the legal drinking limit to a number of drinks has clearly no idea about how the system works.

This is, partially, caused by the law and its allowance for alcohol in the blood. Zero limit is easy to define, and doesnt cause problems like "ill only have one, im driving" mentality.
