My daughter is 11 and is football mad, she has played for Everton girls for a few years now and they have won plenty of titles before but what they have achieved tonight is what i think is their most special title yet. They have become the first winners of the Rhys Jones Memorial Tournament after winning the final tonight at Chester City's Deva Stadium! Rhys was an Everton fan and i like to think that our girls pulled together to win it for him. All in all it was a fantastic event organised by Rhys's dad who is hoping it will help encourage youngsters to 'join a team, not a gang'.
