Accord Type R vs Accord 2L V-Tec

Recaros, bodykit, engine, suspension, wheels, brakes, exhaust.

Not so much groundbreaking mods, but ones to make the car more sporty. the engine is probably the biggest (considering the type R has the full fat VTEC and the 2.0 isn't)

As an example of the attention to detail on the ATR, you can't get them with folding rear seats, this was to improve structural rigidity of the bodyshell.
The ATR really is a rather good car. Tried one before I bought my 330i. For the money, I thought the ATR was easily better than anything else that I could buy.

id be looking at the ones around the £4000 / £4500 mark (just gotta save up slightly more!)

seems at that price they all seem to be at closing 100,000 miles

One thing to keep in mind is that the H22A isn't the most fuel efficient engine in the world...and the nature of the car will tempt you to floor it and bring it to redline quite often :D

I thought the ATR had an LSD also?

Really nice cars. A friend has one which I've had quite a bit of use from, they really are a good all rounder if you want something entertaining and sensible. One thing that did get me though, VTEC engages at just under 6000 RPM but then the limiter isn't all that high, which makes the powerband quite narrow, you also have to be just about on the limiter when you change otherwise it drops out of VTEC. Still, fantastic cars.

Hello stinky - I can talk to you all day long about them buddy :)

What you you want to know specifically about the differences ?

Car is 40% stiffer (i.e no sunroof etc)- Engines hand made , port and polished , higher compresion ratio , etc etc
