films inspired by games

yeah but someone must like them lol they keep on making them why !!!! this so called halo movie ( if Microsoft ever go through with it) will be poor, i thought the the halo in game story was bad enough lol

Some I've enjoyed.

I liked the last RE that came out, I watched Silent Hill.. turned it off half way through it was just pure ****

Both Final Fantasy movies sucked, I loved the Tomb Raider movies (Sue me..)
Mortal Kombat movies are ownage stfu. Doom was pure *****
 
Final Fantasy movies were nothing special in themselves, but I loved the CGI style so enjoyed it for that. I quite liked the Tomb Raider movies - I never watched them expecting an epic blockbuster, I was after a lightweight action with stunts, and that's exactly what I got, can't complain :).
 
I agree, Tomb Raider films aint that bad, compared to other films, nothing epic but worth a watch. Needed nudity tho.
Silent hill - good. end of.
Doom - good for a cheesy laugh.
Wind Commander isnt that bad either tbh, if you're in the mood for it. Not bad CGI for such an old film either.
Mario Bros sucks so bad its good tbh.
Mortal Kombats and Street Fighter films will always be quality, raw action films.
 
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is being made with Jake Gyllenhaal as the main character and the director of goblet of fire so could be the decent.

Edit: Bioshock film is also being made with the scriptwriter from gladiator and the aviator and the director of pirates of the carribean.
 
I really liked Silent Hill.
Hated Tomb Raider but I don't think it was aimed at me really :p Doom was pretty bad but entertaining enough.

Personally I enjoyed the Resi trilogy, Silent Hill and Double Dragon and Super Mario Bros for ultra cheese :D

the 2nd is picks up where FF7 left, it looks amazing! The storyline is weak but if you are a mega fan of FF7 (like me) it wont bother you at all and you will be absorbed till the end!
