When did saturday night become about Drinking?

I guess people have nothing else to spend money on, so they just spend it on booze instead, because they are fools.

When everything became so controlled in our everyday lives people started to enjoy the feeling of not being in control themselves and just doing whatever they want without caring.

going out tonight but im not going to get drunk !...will have a few, maybe to the tipsy enjoyable feeling and thats the limit, hate getting up feeling like a ****** fart in a washing machine!

See thats were your wrong, in 99% of these kind of situations it is the people who drink that have a problem with the 'weirdos' that don't drink.

The problem is that drunk people tend to causes more problems on an evening out the the people who aren't drinking. Its rare for a bunch of tee-totallers to get into a punch up because 'its fun' for example. And I'm not saying that everyone who drinks gets violent because obvious this isn't the case, but I hope you at least see my point.

I see the point and understand it but you seem to have completely missed mine. I'm talking specifically about the people on here who insist on telling you that alcohol is the devils work and everyone who drinks is a lout who beats his wife/random strangers etc etc.

I don't give a flying one (no pun intended, knowing your profession) whether you or anyone else does or doesn't drink, I have neither the interest nor the right to dictate what you do with your life but equally I'd prefer if people didn't criticise and label all drinkers the same without justification.

Are you serious? I saw a pic of you once and you looked about 20.

Deadly serious, I was born in 1979 and will be 29 in November this year.
Ta for the compliment though, and yes I do look younger than my age. :)
