Can 48xx's be pencil modded?

Maybe people dont know for sure, but can anyone tell if the lead modable resistors are on the new cards?

how much of a gain would this likely give to games if similar to 38xx cards?

Not sure if anyone knows yet, but I'm hoping they will be pencil-moddable

As for gains, no one can tell you that either...but with 480sp and independently clocked shaders I am thinking performance will scale even better with frequency in comparison to the 38xx series.

for the 4870x2, maybe...

i think the cards will be able to be pencil modded (it's just a refresh after all), and if the OCing on the 3850 is anything to go by, they ought to fly when it's done... not long to wait though.

well, it's hope anyways...
