Asus 8800GT-TOP 512Mb... discontinued?

I've seen the Asus 8800GT-TOP 512Mb floating around online, but nobody seems to have it in stock anymore. Has it been discontinued and replaced with a new model, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

If it has been discontinued, what would you guys recommend as a suitable alternative?

I've had this in the past - I'm a massive Asus fan, but when it comes to graphics cards, they always seem to cease production quite early compared to other manufacturers when a new card family is on the horizon.

Just get the cheapest 8800GT you can find

I've managed to find the 512Mb at last, so no worries now.

Thats not the point lol... point is it was sold as a 512Mb card... and its only running as a 384Mb card with lower core spec...

So I'm not really suprised they stopped production if many came out like this...

thats an 8800GS/9600GSO, just labeled as a GT
