Hi. Another random thread by me as im curious of the outcome. I was just wondering if we could put this into a poll.

Yes
No
Used to but not now
Used to be atheist but believe in a God now

Nope, just can't fathom how it can be possible as science is slowly proving religion wrong in more areas by the day.

No. I'm of the opinion that you are quite insecure if you feel the need to put faith in a God.

It's doing nothing of the sort, science simply shows the easiest possible way to achieve something that fits predictive data. It doesn't do anything else.

Used to not know. (agnostic)

No, I have never believed in any super natural entity. Usually you will find that during disasters or following trauma people become very faithful. Which is a little ironic.

I believed. For five years in a Christian secondary school I believed - followed by an iffy two years in college (where I finally picked up swearing, drinking and sex). Now, after watching the Zeitgeist, and also gaining the courage to question my beliefs (afraid of being thrown into Hell for disbelief), I am really not so sure.

I haven't personally witnessed any miracles, but I have heard a number of stories from friends and teachers. The one thing that is quite convincing, is the phenomena of Christian tongues. There were two or three girls in my year back in the GCSE years that were able to speak in tongues, and they are not the type to lie and blurt out random noises to convince people of God.
