Religion used to be really big a couple of hundred years ago, but now it's not so much. The problem is, nowadays, some religions can't cope with different religions on this planet, and in my opinion, is why there is always so much war and fighting everywhere (E.G. Middle East)

While I don't believe in God, I do believe that religious values are a very good way to live your lifeby. That is exclusing cases of extremism though, of course.

I didn't say they'd been brainwashed, and I am aware that there are many many scientists and other such who are religious. I do still think that it comes from being insecure.
