Now i know there has been discussion of this in the past, and i know there has been a clan in the past. But it hasn't really taken off.

I've recently ended one of my own clans due to lack of activity of members.

Anyone wanna give it a try? I've got a 20 man 100tick server until the end of August, but hopefully when it comes to renewal, some people might wanna chip in if it's become successful?

Also, i'm hoping it's ok to assosiate the business with the clan?

Who's up for giving me a hand? :)

Add me to MSN if you're interested, or just post in here :) benjo1989"at"hotmail.com

Once I get my mic hooked up I should be able to be a member at least. I'm kinda short of time tho, so I don't know how often I'll be able to play...

Fav map = Nuke right now

If it does get going, i think we should have a community and a clan. Community members are obviously people from these forums who want to play with the rest of us, and clan members being people wanting to take it further to competitions like ED.

We'll see what the outcome is though, as everyone is different skills :)

Depends what you plan on playing :)

Calling it OcUK is about as far as it can go.

That's all i was thinking :) Just placing OcUK in the server title.

I think we should keep the server standard, public. A good rotation of maps. Then if we do have some skilled players amongst us, which i know we do, we could form a team out of it. In the mean time i'm more concerned about getting a member base for the server :)

I would play on the server most likely, but I'm already in a clan so won't be joining that. Should be able to have some good games if we get a lot on though :)

As far as I remember when we had the original CS:S clan back when it came out (which had a good community and team surrounding it! :p) We were told by one of the dons here that we were not allowed to tag ourselves as "OcUK" as this would show affiliation with the company. (Not just the forum)

We ended up having our clan tag set up as [T-OcUK] as this then distinguished us apart from the company.

Anyway good luck with this, as it was great fun playing with guys from these forums for so long. I may pop on if you get it up and running!

what leagues u guys in ? or you just pubing around >?

Pubing? you mean hairs growing in the lower half region?:p

I don't know about an OcUK CS:S clan but I love playing it on Teeside public server, so wouldn't mind gaming with some fellow OcUK-ers. I'm 90% of the time, Mr. Fish

I'm not really interested in playing in competitions or anything like that, but I'd definitely be part of the community. :)

Yeah I'd 100% be up for it, wouldn't mind chipping in a few quid a month for the server, as long as I get somesort of admin rights of course ;)

Not personally interested in joining a league though, as I hate having time constraints and having to be on the PC at such and such time.

I'll add you to MSN later :)

I may be interested, started playing again the other night and my current clan is completely inactive.

I'd be interested, I played CS a while back and started getting good but now my steam just crashes after about 10 mins and has done for the past 6 months. Haveb't played since, if it magically works again count me in!

Excellent, i'll start getting the server set up then :)

Just need to confirm what Eva01 said about the tag.
