TSG what sort of processing power do you need to have to capture the video reliably, or is the voodoo magic all in the capture card?

Not sure in the minimum specs I'm running quad core with 4gig of ram. The HDD setup would be most important really. I'm just using SATA Weston Digitals 7200 RPM and they seem to handle fine.

That statement has left me a little confused.
I am interested in purchasing the same Black Magic Intensity Pro. I have a PS3 and want to know for sure if I can capture video through HDMI. What I plan on doing is buying a HDMI splitter and using my LCD TV to play still whilst capturing at the same time on my PC.
That's a replay but the ingame graphics are still good
PS3 has HDCP all the time I think so the card would need to decrypt it, which I don't think it can so you have to use component.

Correct.
The Pro card has 2x inputs and outputs.
You can record via HDMI input and either ouput to Component or HDMI
OR
You can record via Component and output to Component or HDMI.
Choice is yours. Due to HDCP this card cannot be used with the PS3 over HDMI. You will need to use the Component side of the card and get a Component PS3 cable.

Good video, I see they have tried to get the wet look on his clothes although I am not sure they should be that shiney when he gets out of the water.

Just the software what came with the card, its called Media Express.
