My band (The Dead Lay Waiting - I know, could have chosen a better name but this stuck :p) have managed to reach the final round of a battle of the bands for a chance to play at the bloodstock metal festival on the unsigned band stage :D
The final round is internet voting via the bloodstock forums (the semi's, quarters and heats were gigs and jolly good fun).

All the bands involved in our final have links to their myspaces on there (including ours obviously but here it is anyway just to emphasise the fact that we'd absolutely love to play this festival http://www.myspace.com/thedeadlaywaiting). You need to register to vote but it only takes a minute as they only ask for email, username and password.


Have a listen to all and just vote for the ones you like. Hope you like our stuff :)

I'll go have a listen when I get home. I'm not a huge Bloodstock fan myself, but my brother and some folk I know are heading there. If you make it, I'll tell him to go have a listen :)
 
We could always cheat by calling Vynce up and bribing him. That's how these things normally work.

Lol cheers Dracata :D They're 4 squids each, so we can do some kind of swap involving the concept of money ;) :p

I was thinking, Ive heard this name before, you're from the same town as me thats why lol.

Will vote later, oooo might have to vote for Ventflow ;) sounds not bad at all though.

Cool, might get down there, I have a serious lack of mates that are into metal though, I mean, I went to see the Black Dahlia at the Furnace by myself hah!

Shadow Law sound pretty good, nice and thrashy, maybe a bit to much dragonforce piddly widdly in there but still not bad.
