I was just curious as to what kinda jobs you guys do for a living? and what your monthly income is after tax has been taken off? (you may or may not wish to participate!) :) and no this is not a how big is your e-penis sort of thread. :p i just wanted to see how pay varies!

I work for computer retail as a sales person/exec :p

Senior manager for security services company. I'm in the 40% tax bracket.

It doesn't have to be an e-penis thread if the OP is genuinely interested. It could be a good way of exposing our younger members to careers they didn't think of and potential earnings. It's all about what the attitude of the posters in here are like.
 
I always find discussing what you earn a bit crass and it usually turns into willy waving.

So my answer is: enough to save plenty and live to a good standard with the occasional extravagant treat :)

Just, I'm a Business Analyst, currently working for one of the Magic Circle law firms. It's not a career I planned for, I just fell into it. Most people don't really know what BA does, but I enjoy it.

Over £3000 for my wife, she's a PA, which goes to show that money is out in some unexpected places if you work hard.
