oof imagine if 2 seasons ago this was the case, drogba and ibrahimovic bangin em in side by side, would have worried every defense.

Well serie A isn't as Glam and desirable as the prem and la liga so I can honestly see only Drogba going.
Going there will be throwing away a chance to win a champions league medal imo.

Am not convinced, Grant did a good job pretty much anyone could with world class players and resources like chelsea have.

I'm sure JM would love to take a few of our players with him but why on earth would Chelsea want to sell their best players unless they want to go:confused:
Drogba can of course as he's a liabilty and thinks he's bigger than the club, that'll be the same wherever he goes mind.
Lamps doesn't want to leave neither does Essien & Terry's got blue blood.
Carvalho might go but he'll cost a fortune.

Edit: What will gain JM respect is if he can buy in some players who then become great just as he did at Chelsea opposed to just trying to sign ones who already are.

Johnny has good points there.

Drogba is highly probable to join Inter with JM as coach. Drogba is a right deuchebag, but he realises he owes a lot to JM and would not mess with JM.

Drogba and Ibra up front would be a deadly attack, however I can also see them bitching like kids. Ibra has God status in Milan, so Drogba will have to live with not being the main man.

Very much doubt Lampard & Terry would move from Chelsea.
Carvalho possibly, but would cost a fortune.
Essien, not sure. I have a feeling his style would work well in Inter and in Italy in general. I see him as a Gattuso, but with exceptional presence, ability and shooting.

EPL is considered more glamorous. However, Milan is considered a very glamorous City. Footballers wife dream actually.

Also if Mancini gets Chelsea, I would not be surprised seeing Ibra going there too.

As a Chelsea fan I would not mind seeing Lampard go. Mainly because Lampard and Ballack don't combine well together, and I feel Ballack is the better of the two.

The only 2 I could think of that he'd want to get that he possibly could (i.e. not Terry) are Essien and Carvalho. I think he'll certainly get one of them.

Up front he already has goal scorers, so doesn't need Drogba, he has Adriano back who's arguably as strong (if not stronger) and Ibrahimovic who could become a great player, he has all the attributes to do so. Then there is Cruz who is a cracking goal scorer and Suazo who is like lightning.

Mourinho doesn't need to sign as many players as people would have you believe and I expect a few raised eyebrows at some. He doesn't have the money to buy a lot of average players like he did at Chelsea, so he needs to make certain ones count.

Ibrahimovic is already a great player tbh. Adrianos gone off the rails, I think Inter are a bit sick of him to be honest, he tries a bit, they reward him and he throws it back in their faces. I doubt JM could be bothered with him. They loaned him out last season because of his attitude and drop in fitness.

I think he'll tell them he wants another proven forward to replace Adriano and he'll get his way, and thats probably Drogba. The other 2 will be needed as regular subs for when Drogba spits his dummy out etc.

That is good and bad news for Chelsea and Inter fans I guess :D

Cashley Cole is a good left back. But his persona is nothing short of a disgrace.

Ibrahimovic isn't a great player. He has great attributes, but doesn't use them, certainly not in the big games.

Adriano did very well at Sao Paolo, is a lot fitter now too. I'd be prepared to give him a shot as there is so much potential there.

As said, Ibrahimovic never quite lives up to his potential
Adriano has done well in Brazil, whether he can transfer that back to Italy is another question. Cruz is getting on a bit.
