Collecting my new motor on Saturday, so I need to get shut of my current runabout.

2000 (X Reg) 1.3 Fiesta Finesse
28,000 miles
4 Months MOT and Tax
NO FSH

There is also a slight chip (few mm perhaps) in the windscreen on the passenger side - should I get this sorted before I sell?

Anyone with Glass' Guide handy? :)

Also, my policy will change over to my new vehicle as of Saturday, so how will this affect test drives for potential private buyers?

Andy.

It won't, they'll be uninsured anyway unless they set up their own. Did you think your insurance covered prospective buyers, because unless you took out a special policy, it doesn't.

I didn't think it did, I've never sold privatley before but I have been searching around the forums.

Thanks for clarifying!

You're welcome. :) Any buyer who can't show you a proper insurance certificate for your car (that'll be all of them) will have to make do with a good look around it, if even you're not insured on it either. Even if they are insured, get the asking price off them before you hand over the keys. You can always give it back if they don't like it after the drive.
