Team Fortress 2 - Any1 wanna start a community?

Would be nice to have orange_x map on there. Visually rubbish but good laugh as it is very open.
 
I love Well and Granary! 2fort is ok in small doses as someone said.
Wouldn't mind Hydro dropped, I've never really liked that map.


There's a castle map that I was on yesterday and it was awesome. I'll try the find the name of it.
Thought of putting warpath on? I quite like that map.

I was on a server that for the map voting had button 1 as 'I don't care', and 2,3,4 were maps. It stops whatever's number 1 getting a load of votes from people hitting 1 everytime just to get it out of the way.

I think well, granary and 2fort will be dropped from cycle but will still be avaiable to play via the "votemap" chat command. I think this way its fair for lovers and haters of those maps.

I'll try to find some orange maps.

I have installed a little rank plugin, its not hlstats but logs rnaks just the same!

Please dont abuse voteban or votkick, I dont wanna see people scwabling linke 5 year olds then kick voting each other, thats not cool. Save it for the mic spammers!

I have also installed a plugin for mic spamming which mutes the user that uses voice changing programs after 8 seconds.

PS: My webhosting should be sorted today, im told but we will see.

As for custom maps I was thinking these to start with, mainly as there fairly good and small enough so that people will download them and not leave:

Corporation is an amazing looking map but I can't find a server anywhere that plays it. Would like to see how it works with lots of players.

Yep please don't add any unnecessary bits to the server, else it will end up like all the others with radio, UT sound clips, mavity changes etc.

Keep it simple I say :)

Oh those are so annoying. I had to go in and manually delete all the stupid sound files before valve gave you the option not to dl all that nonsense.

Do people never get tired of hearing 'First Blood!' and 'Monster Kill' etc.?

I can probably host it, I'll have a go at setting it up soon and if it works I'll give you all the details and admin pass etc :)

I really like that idea, im one of the ones who presses 1 to get it out the way when in battle :D

It looks just about done, obviously needing some tweaking to your liking and the server side part of it needs doing. I can give you the admin username and password for the control panel so you can enter all the details for the server and configure some stuff if you contact me on Steam when your next online I'll tell you what to do server side too.
