Walkers/climbers

Hi,

My Dads off walking & climbing in the Grand Canyon a week Saturday, and I would like to get him a fathers day present before he goes that he will be able to put to use.

I don't know the slightest about climbing, so any ideas would be great.

i guess he'll already have the gear

b-lay (sp?) shoes, chalk bag etc (for climbling)

Yea he's got most of the gear but I'm not to sure what it involves.

I know he's going to need a lot of water this time, so maybe something around those terms could be good.

When I clicked that link, I initially thought "Oh god, hippie land", but then I watched the demo video, and they actually look really cool...I think I might get one for when I snowboard. Nice one.

Buff's are excellent, I have one that i bought years ago. I always take it out walking/climbing, can be used as neck warmer, bandana, ninja mask

and loads more.
