Who do you think will win in november?. I hope Obama does, he seems really calm and seems to know what he's doing. I don't think anything can be much worse than Mccain becoming president.

I think it depends on how many rednecks live there :)

I also would like to see Obama win he seems good on paper and in the lime light cant be any worse then Bush. I hope he gets into power and makes a real change for the states. Not sure thou if America will back him thou.

That speech was one of worst I have ever seen! His delivery is awful! I hope Obama wins but think he might lose just because he is black and has the middle name hussein.

McCain: "I was in Vietnam, you know? Let's bomb everybody who is un-American."

Jeez, I guess the idiot better start bombing America then!

The world really doesn't need another Bush.

I hope Obahma wins, for the good of the world.

Constant blinking, fiddling with fingers and lack of zazz = an unsure senator. He's also got a strange fake smile and the "kekekeke" snigger he lets out.

No.

Obama is a one-term senator who doesn't even know his way around Washington yet. They lobbyists and SIGs will make mincemeat out of him. So far the only argument I've heard in favour of Obama is that the presidents in 24 were black so Obama must be good. Obama has talked a lot, but hasn't actually told us what his policies are, other than asking for change.

People wanting the anti-Bush should be wanting McCain imo. Him and Bush really do not see eye-to-eye on a lot of issues. Obama has got the big business backing that Bush used to enjoy.

I spent a large part of this year in the US (Texas and Louisiana) When Obama won the first primary I got to talking in a bar with a few locals in texas and they were of the opinion that he could just win it.
Now when white working class people in texas are thinking a Black man has a chance you know its got to be taken seriously. You have to realise this is Houston and whos airport is named after Bush Snr, as well.
Will he win? I dont think so but IMO the US has too much hatered and divison and thats the problem.

The lowest comman denominator will ruin his chances becasue in the US the LCD is about 50% of the vote.

Shame casue he comes across allot better than Hillary did, she was just scary and macain doesnt he make oven chips or something?

Obama doesn't pander to big business. He does not accept donations from federal lobbyists or political action committees whereas McCain does. McCain wants to make permanent Bush's tax cuts for the rich whereas Obama wants to put them back or above where they were to help fund universal healthcare which is something McCain or Bush would never do in a million years. McCain's policy on iraq is the same as Bush's whereas Obama wants to pull out and was one of the few against the war before it started.

So Obhama is a bit like our Dave? So what I bet Dave gets in next time as well.

Even if McCain doesn't see eye to eye with Bush he is still a war mongering idiot.

It's the 21st century. We need forward thinking liberals in charge.

Think McCain will get it, Obama won't get any votes in the Deep South

You're joking right? White people are a minority in these states - the blacks will be out in force for Obama in the south, mark my words. Where Obama will fail is in the West, where people tend to be a bit more intelligent and informed on the issues, and states with large populations of white working class people, who he has publically attacked before.
