Firearms + Shotgun Certificate

Just sent my application off with the £50 Cheque to the local police department :D..... How long do the police usually take to respond to applications for Firearms certificates? Thanks.

Cool man, sounds good. My Local police doesnt really recieve a lot of apps i guess... Most people are too lazy to fill out all of the forms. The local firearms dealer said that they were pretty good. I have already put my name down on a Remington 3 Shot Semi auto Shotgun :).

Yeah some are more relaxed than others. Have you invested in a safe yet?

Is it for Sporting or Hunting?

I was considering a Beretta Semi Auto Shotgun when i did clay pigeon. Not done it for a while now, but hoping to get back into it very soon.

lol nice pic! I got my firearm+shotgun certs in about 2 months, all depends on your local office though, ive heard of some taking 6 months!

I think the guy pretty much just asked the exact same question you did
 
My first ever shotgun cert took about 12 weeks. Although I don’t know if they are still having delays with the new computer system. When I moved down here it took them 3 attempts to issue me with a new certificate!

I've been meaning to get a Czech firearms licence for a while but never end up getting around to it what with life getting in the way :(
