STR Fix for Asrock 775Dual-VSTA owners

Those of you with this board are probably also ****** that Suspend-to-RAM (aka S3) doesn't work. Anyway this can be fixed by flashing a modded bios found here. Speed step and advanced power features are also enabled so it is worth it even if you dont use STR.

STR really is great, all the fans go off including the PSU but the system is still available within 2 seconds!

I have this board just wondering if anyone else has tried this the 4gb limit sounds good is that possible?

7) Support 4GB (2*2GB) DDRII memory.

It seems to work with 4gb from a brief test I did. However internet explorer locked up, such that i couldn't even kill the process and had to restart. I cant say whether this is co-incidental as this is after all a Via board and therefore buggy as hell.

My recommendation: If you need 4gb, buy a better mobo.
