hi all!

I'll start with saying sorry about my spelling I know its rubbish! :(

Anyway

Just walking from town to my house! On the way I thought I'd get some food from the kabab shop. I go in and they say they are close! :( so I leave and walk up the road towards my house!

Whilst walking up this narrow street about 20mins later a car come flying up behind us and starts sounding it horn at us!! So whilst this is happening me and my mate are wondering what the problem is! We move over (squeezing against the wall) to give them room! Once they pass I screamed some words that are not aload on here! I wasnt happy!

Anyway the moment passed!!

About 5 mind later they drove past again! At this point I notced it was the Turkish people!! So shouted at them again saying "slow down! Idiots!"

After that was sad the break light came on! And the car started reversing. Once it was level with us the window came down and they asked what my problem was! I replied that they where driving like idiots in the narrow street which people are walking along!

Seconds after I say this the passenger tries getting out the car to start something! I held his door shut to keep myself and mate out of trouble! I then made a comment "forget it, I'm going home!!" this seemed to annoy them as 3 got out the car and started shouting at me telling me that they would hurt me! And asked why I had shouted! I replied saying they nearly hit me with there car. I was then told "I will hurt you so much more than this car will!" after this I calmed the situation down! And I walked off


Happy that it was all sorted I walked home!

Looking into the direction that the car went I spotted it doing a u turn. So I started running! And hid in a garden. They then kept driving around!!!

I waited a while and am now home and fine! Thank god!

But should I report it!


Or just leave it and go for a kabab in a few weeks lol

You got away with it there. I wouldn't have said anything unless there was enough of us to deal with anyone who could potentially get out of the car.

What use would the reg be? What provable crime was committed?

The only result that would come from handing their reg to police would be to increase the chances of encountering them again at some point in the future.
 
No point in reporting anything. Just be glad you got home in one piece.

Was there really any need for shouting anything back?

There's always idiots out at night. You've just got to learn to constrain yourself.

The general public can obtain an address from a car registration now? I thought that was limited to the police and certain other authorities.
 
Really dude I know idiots like this are annoying but shouting insults at them just doesn't achieve anything and one day it'll backfire and you'll end up getting severely beaten/stabbed...etc. It's just not worth it.
 
Idiots like this often need quite literally no excuse to start trouble, so handing them that excuse is a little silly unless you're prepared to deal with the consequences.

I'm not saying the OP is in any way at fault in terms of right and wrong, maybe just a little naive in not recognising earlier what direction the situation could have taken.
 
unfortunately in a case like this, if you question the individuals involved, or try to intervene. you end up getting arrested yourself.in america they have the right idea. someone breaks into your property you are legally entitled to use firearms to defend youself/family. kill em all let god sort them out:D

whaaa? nobody's broken into anywhere though?

And you can defend yourself with any weapon (legal weapon) here too, just once thier on the floor and incapacitated you can't keep smashing their head till they die.

i remember tefal one of my friends who i go hunting with, a few years ago when the security situation was different in northern ireland. he was doing work on army bases in south armagh (commonly known as bandit country at that time) i called up to his house to arrange our next days hunting to be met with a 12 gauge semi auto sticking out the letterbox until he was able to confirm that it was me at the door. thankfully things are better over here now

What? What does that have to do with him being harrased in the street? :confused:
 
i know tefal i may have strayed of the op's topic a bit for which i apologize. but i remember my parents telling me that if you were in the wrong place over here a few years ago a threat was the least you got away with. but as i said earlier:) things are getting better now
