Thought i would just start a MGS4 story thread, i know we prob wont have many here with an early release version unlike GTA4 as that ship dont sail with the PS3 yet. So if we can use this thread to post story spoilers, discussions, etc, some may even think talking about aspects of gameplay could be classed as a spoiler. So then people keep it all in here and even though its a spoiler thread can we try to keep major spoilers mentioned as such with a large gap and/or hard to read font/colours so those who havent finished the game are not spoiled if they are just after gaming help, a bit like this

Snake is a silly name for a gaming icon





Its a bit harder to read and is only clear when highlighted, also note if you quote spoilers the colour will have to alter. This may seem a bit OTT for some but many people have waited years for the conclusion of this story and dont want it spoiled for them by accident.
To be honest if in doubt stay out of this thread until you have finshed the game if you want to be totally spoiler free.
It may also be a big ask but can we keep this thread on topic, fanboy and console war free! (unless its a MGS fanboy):D

So maybe we should quote all our spoliers. Yes we probably should mention where in the game you are when you post a spoiler.
 
It kinda sucks that Snake has to die halve way through, leaving you to play as Meryl. Although she is quite hot. Then again, it is a video game. Anyway, it'll be great to start playing him again when it goes back three years where it doesn't look like he's aged nearly as much.

If any of that is true, expect a brick through your window soon. ;)
 
I wouldn't put it past Kojima to have us atleast control another character in MGS4. Playing as Ninja Cyborg Raiden and taking down robot cows would be quite the fun time.
