Yes, i am asking for an opinion about an idea for a tattoo. I know people usually say that as long as the person is happy, it shouldn't matter but i prefer hearing comments from others. :)

It was my own idea and i am still experimenting with the shapes but i wanted something a bit different. I have the shapes shaded in but i'm unsure whether just to make the outline thicker and NOT shade it in.

2 ideas...

So yay or nay?

Top left isn't too bad. Bottom right looks like looking down a shaft of a penis and two balls.

And yes, my penis does have five sides.

Thanks so far. Nice to hear other people's thoughts. What about improvements or suggestions? Is it the way the shapes are laid out or something more?

Why not just get a skull with flames, a snake or something cool?

No. I don't like that sort of thing.

Nay, it doesn't look good, has no meaning for you etc.

I disagree with everything having to have a meaning but instead 'liking something' is a good enough reason. Aren't you the guy with that hugely impressive tattoo on your arm? Well, all over your arms? Oh wait, might be Neoni...

you may be shooting yourself in the foot aswell, if you going for a lot of lines and symmetry find a bloody good tattooist, or you will do regret it.

Mm, i was thinking about that last night - wondering how it could be exactly the same distance between the shapes PLUS the straight lines everywhere.

Might start playing around with other ideas but i love the hexagon shape, may try some overlaps or something. May even add other things to it. Still looking anwyays. :)

a lot of tattooists are good, but lines are very tricky to pull off, and you looked for minute gaps between the tattoo too, which im afraid to say when you are older will just make the overall tattoo look like a black smudge due to bleed.
