because the drive doesnt spin as fast as the 360. hence less noise but needing to install on the hdd. id rather have my console install stuff than have one that is rather loud. but im not gonna argue, lets not continue.

It's one of the benefits of the PS3, with every PS3 out there having a hard drive, it's something the dev's are making use of, speeds up load times.

They really are great, you should buy one!

Mines is .... infact the benq's have been found to be noiser than most of the sammy / hitachi drives that are in 360's now

160gig HDD for cheaper than a years live subscription ...... no worries for hard drive space. £120 for a 120 gig MS HDD .... thats a concern.

If you really do play THAT many games, just buy a bigger HDD, another advantage of the PS3 is the HDD is really easy to upgrade AND they take standard Laptop SATA HDD's so nice and cheap too.
