I think it becames more" soft"after the beating

manioc flour taste very good, in Brasil they use it with all the BBQ meats,helps to "drain" the fat

if you want to taste it,just find a good brasilian restaurant and ask for "Picanha", they serve a lot of manioc flour with it

I use a Gas BBQ if it's just me, the missus and daughter.

Charcoal BBQ for parties.

I don't care what people say, bbq is a social thing, if you don't have time to light charcoal don't have a bbq. Half the fun is charcoal where you can't control the heat.
