As above, Im finding it difficult finding a reasonable card to add to a system, being low profile is proving to bwe a bit of a pain, does anyone know of any decent pci express x16 low profile cards?
I know of the 3450 in the store, its Directx 10.1 etc, would it be any good in an e6750 (2.66 dual core vpower) machine?

It'd be okay for movies and some light gaming. So long as you don't mind running most 'modern' games in low configs.

Would it play the likes of bf2 confortably? ive tried looking for benchmarks for it but the well known sites seem to skip over it, would it be on a par or better than a 7600gt?

Do low profile cards perform the same as the normal sized card or is there a compromise. If there isnt, my 7600GT plays BF2 maxed out at 1024x768 (I know...that res is nothing special) with about 60+ frames, unless there is a big explosion right in front of my face LOL.

There is currently a low profile 8600 GT out, making that the current most powerful low profile card on the market. However, the 7600 GT and 8600 GT perform very similarly, the 3450 isn't as fast.

A couple of suppliers have the 8600gt listed but out of stock (tres typical!) so Ive opted for the multimedia preferring hd3450, Its not going to set the world alight but itll do until I can get hold of a far better card rather than another mediocre upgrade.
