I can see a point. If we can get £60-£70m AND a player (Robinho or Ramos) then either would already cover a weakness (RW replacement or Right-Back) then spend money re-enforcing elsewhere.

Now Alves and Bosingwa have gone, Lahm has stated he wants another season at Bayern, there's only Ramos and Rafinha that are known as RB's that are young and of a certain class.

With the money we could surely get a decent RW player (Robinho in a trade), Ribery or a player of pure class (I'd love Pirlo).
