been using the XDA orbit for the past year, and it's been quite good. The natural progression is to go for the Orbit XDA ll, but before I commit I was wondering whether there was anything better. Not bothered about a keyboard as it's a bit bulky, just a good satnav that will run my TomTom and OS maps.

The orbit 2 comes with CoPilot Live 7 which is meant to be much better than TomTom as they ahevn't updated it for a while

Might go for the Orbit XDA ll, most people seem to really like it. The HTC touch diamond only has 4 gb memory possible, so I would struggle to get all my OS maps installed with Co-Pilot also.

Just to throw it out there tomtom have announced a version of their satnav software for the iPhone, that would make a pretty nice satnav device

Got a link? I've suspected they would do this for a while but I can't find anything to confirm it?
