Have I Got News For You - Jeremy Clarkson presenting

Jeremy Clarkson drove past me last week....As i was going to a local diner for breakfast.

No bull****.

I had to look twice.

My mother saw the short one (Richard Hammand or something like that?) getting out of his car and thought he was a little old lady. :p

She was annoyed too, because he'd knicked her parking space.

I thought this was one of the funniest episodes I have seen in a while, the Brian Blessed episode just annoyed me tbh :(

Blessed just hammed it up and he wasn't really very good. It was a bit like watching an uncle desperate to impress his nieces and nephews.

JC was pretty good last night and managed to avoid falling into Top Gear unprofessionalism.

Blessed was funny the first time, but I think he'd get annoying quite quickly. My vote would be for Alexander Armstrong to present the show permenantly, if they ever decided to go with one person.
Would like to see Angus guest host, but I can't see that happening...

the Brian Blessed one was so funny

I hadnt laughed so hard in ages...

I wonder when you discover you have such a distinctive voice?

Clarkson's getting a bit too big for his boots. We only barely care about your opinion on cars, only idiots care about your stance on politics.

clearly plenty of people do, as he has a column in a paper and books that contain a lot more comments about everything other than cars ;]

you need to watch have i got more news for you on bbc iplayer to get a slightly extended version, its a lot funnier than the cut version! merton is awesome though, very witty and sarcastic

he has a column in The Sun (afaik) - not exactly renowned for its readers' advanced intellectual capacity.

and I've not read his books, largely because he's a **** and I wouldn't like to line his pocket anymore than I already do by watching Top Gear

He writes for The Sunday Times, both in their In Gear section and for the Culture Section, frequently with AA Gill. He also writes for the Comment column.

His books are just collections of his journalism so they can usually be found on the times online site.

How people can hate jeremy clarkson is beyond belief, he is one of the few celebreties who actually cares about promoting Britain, he is forever praising the forces, VC winners, british cars, british engineers.

Most other TV personalities are in it for the fame but he has a genuine interest in teaching people about great brits.

Although nowadays people think someone who kicks a ball around a field or uses lots of synthesizers to do yet another cover version of a 70's hit deserves more praise than intellectuals.

God bless you Jezza.
