He is one of those lad's lad, beer drinking, football playing (plays for a local team), regular guy. He's quite clever, 2:1 from Bristol and quite street smart. Recently, I say recently but it has been about 5 months now, he got dumped by his gf of 6 years. Since then i would say he has hit the single's scene right up front and rightly so and had a few success so far.
Now he has a particular taste in ladies, he likes them from the southern hemisphere, darker skin, from Portuguese, Brazilians, Ghanaian....i think if she is not Caucasian and wears a skirt, he'd hit it.
However, his chase for the particular type of women has its limitations, at least where we live, on a night out you can probably count the number of non-white females in their 20's with 1 hand so he has taken his search to the internet. He is not a particularly IT or technical informed person, has trouble with scanning photo on a scanner for example. But he has used some random dating site that "specialises in Brazilians" and has found someone he liked the look of and then later found her on Facebook. He can speak Portuguese and Spanish so communication is not a problem.
That started about 3 months ago, tomorrow he is flying to Rio to see her for 2 weeks of what he hope is some horizontal gymnastics.
I know for a fact that if i was (i don't btw) using a dating site, he would have slated me from now to eternity. Where now he could on his way to get his ass raped by some big brazilian guy for all we know !
So what would or should i tell him? Or am I being too narrow minded? I can't help but think that sometimes people are not what they seem in person and especially when it comes to hot women.
