Kind of a Bargain - 360 HD-DVD with remote

I think the point is Simon, is that with the format now dead, any money they can get back wil lcut their losses.

It's very much a case of sell them like hot cakes whilst they're still reasonably warm.
 
Picked one up for £24.99 with a load of films I haven't seen at £4.99 I thought it'd be rude not to.

Also got Heroes for £12.99 which is a bargain, looking forward to watching that in HD too.
 
its still a bargain weather its dead or not.. simply buy the drive and the films you want that are available now.. and then get blu-ray as well later date and the other films you wanted at full price.#

Mine was preowned but because it had the remote and King Kong I snapped it up. I didn't get it has cheap has many of you folks I paid £37. I don't feel to bad has it's still a lot less than it was when it came out. Wasn't about £129 back then?
 
Picked one up myself for £24.99 with 2 hd dvd's and it came with a remote, couldn't resists already started sourcing out hd dvds.
 
I remember the days of getting my unit with 4or5 HD-DVDs for £180! I love the format and don't care that it's dead - I will still continue to purchase the films I haven't yet picked up at bargain prices - there is such a huge catalogue overseas still to get your hands on with some true classics! I may even purchase a 2nd drive just for redundancy purposes whilst they are such silly prices.

This is one of the reason's they lost. If they won they would have introduced region codes tbh.

Any price is a bargain for Heroes!! If the format war had lasted much longer I would have bought kit just to watch it, as it is I will wait till it appears on Blu-Ray (hopefully) both seasons (over the summer).

If not I am hoping one of you guys will be selling HD-DVD player and Heroes to me for a "bargain" price, as you all seem to have picked up "bargains" :)

Thats good to know that any regions is ok, must admit i just brought heroes, planet earth when you concider both for just over £30 and you get 7 hd dvd's with heroes and 5 with planet earth it can't be bad.

Youll be able to get a player and the series for the price of it on BD :p

Mine got dispatched today:D
 
I still say hd dvd only failed as it wasn't on the 360 as standard, imagine if they had released the console with it on, blueray wouldn't have had a chance
