Ever heard of Sky Sat or something (sky alternative)?

The old man is looking at getting something called sky sat. He thinks it is like cable and sky but kinda just freeview but with more channels.

They put a dish up for you, one off payment of £150 and that is all.

Anyone know what he's going on about? Is it good, bad, etc?

Its basically freeview via satellite, but also allows you to get free to air HD channels if you buy the HD box and have compatible tv hardware.
