Further to my other posts, im trying to get my idle and load temps down from 50ish and 80ish to a reasonable amount.

Im getting a new cooler tomorrow and going to tidy my cables up too.

The question i have is...

My case has 2x12cm fans , one at the front of the case and 1 at the back.
Which one sucks the air in and which one puts the air out?

Generally the front fans are used as intake and the rear fans as the exhaust. Try and align the new cooler to fit this airflow pattern as well so that it blows towards the rear of the case.

Well im thinking of getting the arctic 7 as it the fan faces the other way doesnt it which will be right in the line of the 2 fans. Is that right?

correct, air coming through the front intake will be pulled in and vented out the back along with the heat being moved from the cpu cooler.

In general you can tell which way the fan will push air as it will have the wires on the front which will be the way the air is pushed

Any decent fan has two arrows - one that shows the direction of fan rotation, and one that shows the direction of air movement.
