Sorry to be a moody so and so but I really am cross about these whinging tanker drivers claiming that £39k a year isnt enough to basically sit on their backsides driving a lorry full of fuel about the country.
I might not know all the finer details of how many hours they work, etc etc, but I find it really unfair that they are objecting to how much they get paid when there are people out there (like myself) doing much more worthwhile jobs for a lot less money.
I earn less than half what they do in a year for working a 40 hour week, and to be honest I consider what I do a lot more worthy job.
No one makes me do the job I do, I do it because I love it, so I put up with the crap money but I really get cross when I see these apparently greedy drivers complaining considering what they earn.
Whos going to go on strike for me and my 0% pay rise this year (all I got was the cost of living increase) Why is there such an undervaluing of public sector workers such as myself.
Rant over for now, and you can all jump on my head but I cannot for the life of me see how a tanker driver can complain at his wages in these circumstances.
