Best way to remove skin tag ?

As title says really,have a small skintag on my back and i want to get rid of it,i was told tie a bit of string around it wich i have done now for 3 weeks but it's not had any affect yet.

Any ideas?

You have to use thread and tie it nice and tight, or else you can use your finger nails and pinch it between your nails really hard, it will eventually dry up and fall off.

i know its only dead skin but will it hurt if i cut it off ?

See a doctor.
They don't use lasers any way. Skin tags, they either cut off or more commonly tie off. They get a bit of nylon and tie it very tight at the base, stopping the blood flow. After a few days it just drops of. Orf you could do what I do and just take a pair of scissors to it, they don't have many nerve endings however it will bleed a lot.

there's nothing dead about it, they're very similar to moles and can cause skin cancer.

Actually, I've known people who have had them frozen off. But I cannot remember with what they were frozen with.

didn't know that, only seen them cut and tie skin tags. Doctors love it, they get something like £50 per mole removal.
