A Day in the life of a ford driver

I love my car. She keeps opening up the doors even when im not there and after I lock them. I guess she just wants to be driven some more, haha.

Im glad I get to go out today, I forgot to buy my monthly stock of kurust and paint. Shes only 6 months old, so she will last at least another 6 before I have to replace body panels. She left me a present the other night, lots of engine oil over my drive, she likes to play fun games like that, so I just top her up with some more. Still, its cheap buying all these things, thats the great thing about economies of scale.

Have to book my hearing test next week too, my neighbour bought me some ear defenders for my birthday, I think hes trying to make out that my tappets wake everyone up, but im sure they aren't that loud, I mean mrs pertwee doesn't complain. Meh, people can be weird. Speaking of which, I was going for a full speed run the other night, I'd managed to get it up to 65mph after a lot of coaxing when this stream of other cars blew past me. I don't know what make they were, but they were sure fast. Probably BMW drivers, I hate those guys. I wish I could keep up with them and show them whose boss. Instead I have to make fun of them through the internet, where I know they read. Plenty of other people are jealous too, so I can't be wrong huh?

I got a birthday card from John the breakdown guy today, man I see him more than my wife. I can't believe how much we know about each other, he's always waiting for my call to replace or fix something. Heh...

most modern fords are about the most reliable cars on the road and no longer have noisy tappets as they have phased out pushrod engines on all but cars except for the KA. I own a ford and i have a very distant relationship with my local breakdown driver. it would be funny if it was true or someone showed it to me 30 odd years ago
