Asus P4R800-VM is dead?

Tried different CPU, RAM, graphics etc. Still no POST. Just powers up with the cpu fan spinning and no beeps (the PSU is fine, its a Corsair 520W). Last time I saw these symptoms it was a dead motherboard...

Anyone want to chime in before I scrap this thing?

try booting with no ram in it. it should beep then.

Nope, just the LED on and cpu fan spinning, nothing else happens.

It's always worth asking if the 4-pin power socket is plugged in?

Hehe. It is, its right on top of the CPU socket so easy to see when I have the cable in
