Seems like a fairly small prize, considering how much free stuff they are dishing out to the participants.
Chances of winning? i couldnt tell you, were pretty good that we play up and down the country and always take highly paid private bookings, his reason is, well he doesnt have a reason he just said he doesnt believe itll be free to travel etc.
Tell him to sort himself out and pull himself together. That sounds like a brilliant trip!

guitar and tbh mate ive never come across an electric guitarist like him, but my god he winds me.

If he does your head in that much, get rid of him. Do the other band members agree? It doesn't matter how good he is, there are so many other guitarists out there. Hell, i'd play guitar for you if you want

respect his decision and if it seriously affects the bands future then let him go and find someone who will be more commited
