Thats good then, no need to make *** step to a Q6600 then :) Can wait for the prices of thew new quads to cmoe down a bit then :)

Hace to say that I am suprised that overclocking the cards gave me a very small incerase over stock.
 
I went from about 31 at stock to 33 so quite a small increase :P

But im happy as its still playable.
 
Couple of frames, in part due to increased OC on cpu but also the new 175.12 drivers which seem good in game. Still stock on the GPUs

:( no longer the only amd user. i guess I'll just have to find another way to rebel. might get some new drivers for my ultra and see if i can scrape a bit more performance out of it
 
just upgraded my stuff but cant get the benchmark tool to work.

q6600 4gb ram 2900xt

problem..

running the benchmark tool just loads up the game (press space bar to continue ect) then i can play the game ??

running the gpu.bat runs the flyby benchmark but it wont give me any results after,says can not find the file specified.

running vista ultimate 64

and crysis 1.2

any help so i can post me scores would be apriciated a lot.

p.s it ran fine on crysis 1.2 on xp if that helps
 
Yeah, for whatever reason the first run in the first few seconds stutters like hell (zooming down through the clouds), after that and the subsequent runs all is well.
