Gah, if its not fuel blockades its tanker strikes!

My local shell was fine, almost empty, in fact quietest i seen it in a while, popped in got some juice and popped out again, i think it really depends on your area, it's more a local rather than national fuel shortage issue, but with prices the way they are this sort of thing is certainly getting to be a big issue, and i can see more of it happening in the future. For those doing occasional miles it's not such a biggie but if you need to do bigger millage 12000+ miles per year the costs are certainly starting to mount up

Local Shell here was out of everything except V-Power just now. Sainsburys was out of unleaded too apparently.

Same boat here, out of unleaded and had one pump left working for BP Ultimate.

Had to pay £1.26 p/l as well, joy.

I actually don't mind them striking too much, or rather I don't really care that much. It's more the idiots that think they need to brim every container they can with petrol that annoys me.

I jumped in the car earlier and noticed I had one notch above empty on the fuel gauge so decided I need to fill her up. I went to 4 petrol stations on the lookout for super unleaded and not one of them had any, in fact three of the four that I went to were completely empty and the other had unleaded and diesel but no super :( By this time I was running on fumes so I had to stick some 95 RON in which I was slightly worried about but it seems to be running fine off boost, I guess I will just not let the turbo spool up.

I was the last one to fill my tank before the guy shouted over the Tannoy "We now have no fuel at all, sorry!". Had just Brimmed it from half full - result :p

<Cynic>They could have just fulled up the V-Power tanks with a load of standard to profiteer - who would ever know ;)</Cynic>
