Quick heads-up for coffee-lovers

?? I've been drinking Australian Skyberry on and off for couple of years now (all ordered from hasbeans) and has always been around £4? In fact, it was £3.50 couple of years ago, never £7??

I mean like a coffee machine I have one but the coffee I got from tesco isnt all that nice. looking for something a little nicer as instant just isnt the same

Where do you get it from? Hasbean always had it at around £7 until recently afaik, unless I haven't been paying attention (which is possible if I was low on coffee at the time:p).

nope you just crush the beans in a mug and add hot water :D

Bah! Real men do it Clint Eastwood style: in a battered tin pot over a campfire! :D

Oh cool!

Although I have just started working for Whittards - weekly free coffee and tea allowances and 50% off more things for the win!

Oooo, cheers for the heads up.

What's everyones favourite coffee here? I particularly like Australian Skyberry, but looking to try some more. Does anywhere do a sample pack with different types?

hasbean have a 12month gift set, they send you a new bean every month for a year at random which is pretty cool :)

I really need to get a machine to take full advantage of it.....

but I need a new lens for my camera first...........decisions decisions..........

Cheers for the heads up, tried a couple of other Oz beans before and I've been impressed with them. I'll certainly give this a try.

you can make reasonable coffee from a stove top, or everyone seems to be raving about the Aerobie AeroPress things, they are only £20 or so..

Nice one, got a linky for that? Can't seem to find it. :)

Edit: Also, what coffee machines do people recommend? What makes etc to look out for, no looking for something too expensive (Over £100).

Edit 2: Found them!

tbh i wouldn't bother with a machine under £200 (the gaggia classic, although you can probably pick it up cheaper than that) you'll get a better cup from a stove top, aerobe or caffeteir.

for £100 your best bet is to buy a good grinder and use one of the cheaper methods above, the Dualits are ok but for £100 you can pick up a Iberital MC2 from happydonkey (although the shipping might be a little more...)
